About us
Russia’s War on Faith is a project run by a small team of volunteers. We believe that people need to know what’s happening to faith communities in Russian-occupied Ukraine.
Since the invasion in 2022, pastors have been arrested, churches shut down, worship banned, and people of faith tortured or even killed.
We created this site to help people take action. We’ve put together a toolkit that anyone can use to speak out, raise awareness, and stand with the persecuted.
We’re here to tell the truth and help others do the same.

Who supports us?
Russia’s War on Faith is a 100% volunteer grassroots project.
We don’t receive any funding, and everyone on our team contributes their work on a fully unpaid basis.
From our articles, to our images and graphics, to our website design – all were created by volunteers contributing to our project.
